I'm sorry it's not advanced critique, but I've got to say I actually said "wow" out loud when I saw this. It's not often I see something on dA that makes my jaw drop like it just did, and I've got to congratulate you on that one! I'd faved it before my jaw made it to the floor, so congrats on that too!
You've made an image with apophysis that may not be as technically 'realistic' as some of the others around, but it has a certain impressive abstract quality that makes me want to give up fractalling now, and just watch the real artists do it. The whole fractal is impressive and of the highest quality, but the eye is truly amazing! -- I'd say something nice, but I'm too avant-garde. *Apophysis | =ImagersFractalDDs | *DeviousFractals I was contemplating for a week whether or not to render this, looks like I made the right decision then. Thanks for the wonderful comment and thanks for faving.
(be sure to see a dentist about your jaw -- FAQ #39: How to get more pageviews? #hangintherebaby whore. This is great, Anthony. A good combination of variations.
BTW, why do you add 'hope you hate it.' to your work? Don't you want people to LIKE it?! -- Extremely Proud The secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life, and in elevating them to art. - John Ruskin 1819 1900 *Apophysis|=ImagersFractalDDs| *Tubaholics-Anonymous|=NNTR No way. I hate it myself so other people should too.
Also its a sneaky way to get more comments, though some of them are stupid like "i don't hate it". bah, there is some method behind my madness. Thanks for faving. -- FAQ #39: How to get more pageviews? #hangintherebaby whore. I hadn't realised you were mad!
And why do you hate your work? If so, there is no reason for you to post it, is there? I certainly wouldn't let people see work that I hated. -- Extremely Proud The secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life, and in elevating them to art. - John Ruskin 1819 1900 *Apophysis|=ImagersFractalDDs| *Tubaholics-Anonymous|=NNTR Because I don't create things for myself. And I end up hating them AFTER they are rendered because some things don't turn out right.
Yes, I am a little mad. I grow madder each year. -- FAQ #39: How to get more pageviews? #hangintherebaby whore. Like what I saw on Dr Who the other night...bones and muscles emerging from a tub of green oil.
Thanks for the comment. -- FAQ #39: How to get more pageviews? #hangintherebaby whore. |
