This is on my top5 list from =monochromatic-stains gallery.
I don't think I have to explain why?
If you ever watched Kubricks' 2010 Odyssey - the strongest element and the most visionary one is the black monolithic obelisque - and the raising sun, highlighting the black smooth surface and casting the shadow of unknown on all living things in the middle of remote nowhere.
Am I describing the scene or the fractal - might as well be both.

Very strong visionary piece, great shape and perspective - the sunlight spilling over the hills and emanating light. Fantastic texture adding more intricacy to the whole composition.

The only thing which I have always meant to ask the author IS - why is the sky green and the earth blue?

Otherwise - this IS 2010 at the moment, maybe we will aquirre our answers!!!
